As we’ve seen time and time again over the past few weeks, Supreme seems keen on marching forward with its ‘business as usual’ approach in light of the current global pandemic. Enlisting the expertise of quintessential British brand Barbour, Supreme recently unveiled a brand new four-piece capsule aimed at the Spring/Summer 2020 season.
Although not considered a full-fledged member of streetwear’s close-knit fraternity, the heritage label does boast collaborative ventures alongside a pantheon of greats, including Engineered Garments, SOPHNET. and White Mountaineering. With that said, Barbour’s oilskin-doused creations are somewhat of a sartorial revelation, and for years have garnered the attention of those within both streetwear and sophisticated menswear circles.
In signature Barbour fashion, lightweight waxed cotton is used to coat a set of closet classics, including a waist bag, crusher hat, and a camp cap, on top of an innovative field jacket silhouette inspired by Barbour’s own Bedale jacket. All four pieces come wrapped in either eye-catching orange, bold leopard print or jet black.
