conway the machine

Earlier this summer, Conway The Machine dropped his collaborative joint, “Lemon,” alongside the one and only Method Man. Set to appear on Conway’s forthcoming album From King To A GOD, the uptempo track is the perfect representation of the old and the new coming together in one unified voice.

The Griselda emcee and Wu-Tang Clan member have since followed up the song with a video that sees both rappers trade bars in an abandoned apartment complex, with the former also seen posting up with his crew in front of a corner store. Conway wastes no time proclaiming his spot amongst other rappers, reciting lyrics like “You can see where I get this ambition from and this drive—the machine—I’m iller than anyone that’s alive.” The LULU rapper also takes time to address relevant social matters, such as systemic racism, neighborhood struggles and family ties. Conway The Machine’s upcoming third studio album is believed to be his most diverse to date, with featured appearances from Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, Freddie Gibbs, DJ Premier, Havoc, Lloyd Banks, Alchemist, Daringer, Erick Sermon and Hit-Boy.
